Q: How do I get my Campus ID?
A: New freshman and transfer students who have enrolled in classes will receive their Campus ID card the day of orientation. Students who are not attending an orientation can pick up their ID card in the Campus ID Office once the semester begins. Students attending classes outside of CMU's main campus will receive an ID card through the office of Off Campus Programs.

Q: What are the benefits of Campus Cash?
A: -Provides a safe and convenient way to purchase goods and services on campus.

-Safer than cash. If cash is lost, it is gone. If an ID card is lost, funds in the account can be suspended.

-Parents can enjoy piece of mind that funds given to attending son or daughter will be used on campus for university related expenses.

-Does not reset at the end of the semester or academic year.

-Balances and usage history can be viewed at www.cmucampusid.com

-There is no minimum or maximum deposit.

-Upon separation from the university (such as graduation or transfer) remaining funds can be refunded.

-Learn to Budget – Campus Cash is prepaid so your child cannot go into debt. Using Campus Cash is a stepping stone to learning financial responsibility.

Q: What is the difference between flex dollars and Campus Cash?
A: Flex dollars are part of your meal plan and are used for food and goods purchases at residential restaurants and dining services run retail locations. Depending on your meal plan flex will clear out at the end of the semester or academic year.

Campus Cash can be used for food and goods purchases at residential restaurants and dining services run retail locations as well as laundry, U-Lanes Bowling and A-Wall Rock Climbing Wall on campus. Campus Cash does NOT clear out or reset. So funds will carry over from semester to semester and year to year. It is best used for university related expenses.
